Does the treatment hurt?
Cool gel is applied and the head of the laser device cools the skin as it glides over the treatment area. You will feeling the sensation of a rubber band snapping against the skin
How quickly will I see results?
Results are usually instantaneous. The clinical endpoint is clearance of the vessel, however sometimes it turns dark or a bruise forms before it disappears. When that happens either it will clear after a week or it will require a second treatment.
What can I expect after treatment?
Immediately after treatment, there may be mild redness and swelling at the treatment site, which may last up to 2 hours or longer. The redness may last up to 2-3 days. The treated area may feel like sunburn. You may apply ice packs or gel packs (do not apply direct ice) for first few hours after treatment to reduce any discomfort or swelling.
Can I apply make-up or cover up after treatment?
Makeup may be used immediately after the treatment.
